Delivery Driver
We are looking for a hard-working candidate with the ability to work independently and maintain a regular delivery schedule to our satellite stores and some home delivery. Attention to detail, ability to organize and solve problems to determine best approach is key.
Hours are typically 7:00am – 5pm Monday – Friday. An occasional Saturday or change in schedule may be required.
Our delivery drivers provide store-to-store delivery service to our dry-cleaning retail locations in the east metro and Minneapolis areas. In addition, driver will be responsible for some home deliveries on regular route. Full size vans, box trucks and small cargo vans are all used for transportation. CDL is NOT required.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities: Load truck and verify correct deliveries against a manifest. Serve as back-up for home delivery and special deliveries as needed.
Work Environment / Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Comfortable driving in a variety of traffic and road conditions / situations.
Ability to work intermittent periods where physical exertions is required such as walking, standing, bending, climbing, lifting, maneuvering rolling racks of clothing and cargo bags of clothing.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Care about quality.
- Maintain high degree of RELIABILITY and punctual attendance.
- Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record.
