Alterations Specialist Responsibilities
St Croix Cleaners is seeking a part-time, alterations’ specialist, bridal experience a plus!
Skills Necessary:
Attention to detail, patience, responsible and adaptable in hours and job duties with a passion to do the right thing while altering, repairing and sewing high quality clothing (men & women’s) and bridal gowns, prom dresses, etc for our customers. Candidate must have sewing (using industrial machines) and fitting experience in clothing including wedding dresses and/or other intricate garments. Experience in vintage alterations and re-design, and tailoring men’s clothing, a plus! Candidate must possess the ability to work independently and to prioritize work flow by setting and meeting deadlines.
Candidate must demonstrate respect, integrity and professionalism when working with customers and others on the team.
Hours: Monday – Friday with flexibility to work some Saturdays
Compensation: Wages depend upon qualifications and experience
